Some good news this week, Bye-Law 888 has been officially rescinded and replaced with Bye-Law 897, which doesn't really have the same ring to it if you ask me ..
The new bye-law still covers several rivers across the country however the updates should accommodate all anglers ..

Whats consider a worm? Do maggots fits into that description? In any case, cant see the point to such bye law whatsoever, i just see less rights for the anglers – coarse in particular. Talk about going backwards or am I missing something here?

Cant say eveni know for sure yohan, perhaps many of these waters hold very little coarse species .. but personaly i doubt it ..

The boyne… no more pike fishing in there so? Ok, i wasnt fishing it anyway nor any the waters covered but still cant see the benefit to Coarse fishing here, more a disadvantage.
