It's the beginning of January 2013 and of course that means the Irish Specimen Fish Committee have released the Irish Specimen Fish 2012 report, a few surprises in this year's report for sure, the introduction of a new bream record.. 6.07 Kg's for Bryan Robinson.
Our very own Ross Macklin was awarded a gold badge for achieving 50 specimen awards, Craig Murphy for a stonkin' 2.95 kg Tench from Lanesboro, and of course Nick Parry claimed the top spot this year 3.23 kgs although it's a shame there's no picture of said fish ..
