A warm up coarse match

Ballybay Angling Association are holding an open coarse knock up on Sunday 4th March on Mullinary Lake, Ballybay.
All welcome, entry fee €20 - draw will take place at lakeside at 9am
- fishing from 10.30am - 3.30pm
payout depending on entry.

Any details on the knock up rules? How many rods, that type of thing?

is that the lake on the ballybay-cootehill road ? What stretch will be used for this ? never knew it was a good coarse venue

yes it is the lake along the ballybay /cootehill road

Hi All

Had a few lads out checking lakes etc, mullinary not fishing at the minute, change of venue to a place that is fishing and fishing well, Bairds Shore.

Meeting at shore line at 9am - fishing from 10.30am to 3.30pm

Todays knock up match at Bairds Shore was extremely tough with sharp winds, sleet and hail stones to contend with. However quite a number of fish were caught and the match was won by Finnian Feeney with 7.7lbs, 2nd was Liam O'Brien and 3rd was Neil O'Brien.

plenty of pike about too i heard with a monster or two seen 8-) the fish caught were mainly skimmers too ..
